Chris Horwood is a musician and aspiring producer with a diverse skill set. He writes and performs original music with his twin brother under RedWood, and is proficient in many instruments including electric and acoustic guitar, bass, piano,drums, ukulele and saxophone to name a few. He has been involved in music his whole life and a recent audio engineering internship further sharpened his studio skills, including recording and mixing, as well as how to run a business. Proficient in DAWs like Logic Pro, Ableton, and Pro Tools he's expanding his technical expertise and pushing his way onto the music scene in Nashville Tennessee. In the first 2 and a half months in Nashville, RedWood has played in dozens of venues for songwrites, open mics, and ticketed shows creating an instant buzz around the city. They are recording lots of music every week and hoping to drop their debut single this May.  He is on track to graduate this spring with a degree in Music Management and a Business minor from Florida Southern College, where he has spent the last 4 years as a Division 1 Water Skier and recognised student athlete. At this most recent Division 1 National Championships Chris finished on the podium placing fifth in the nation for the overall.  His recent internship, combined with his artistic and technical skills, positions him as a versatile and capable professional and employee. Following graduation, he is all set to move back to Nashville to pursue his music career and employment at Nashvox Studios. With years of experience creating and producing music, Chris has a deep understanding of both the artistic and business aspects of the music industry. He aims to blend his creative vision with his practical knowledge to excel in the music world.
